Fewkes Sport Management is delighted to announce that it is now representing 2024 Dubai 24 Hour winner Gilles Magnus, with the focus of helping him further establish his presence as a professional racing driver in some of the World’s leading endurance championships.
Magnus, who is the latest high-profile name to join FSM’s ever-expanding portfolio of racing talent, will work with the agency to develop his career both on and off the track at a crucial point. Starting this year with his full season racing plans to be announced shortly.
Regarded by many as being a star for the future, the 24-year-old Belgian racer has already enjoyed a meteoric rise up the motorsport ranks, beginning in karting where he claimed numerous titles in impressive fashion.
From there, Magnus graduated to the French F4 Championship in 2016, amassing 12 podium finishes and a race victory to finish as runner-up. More success followed in Formula Renault NEC for 2017, as he narrowly missed out on title glory in the championship that featured current Formula 1 drivers Oscar Piastri and Logan Sargeant in the same season.
Magnus’ graduation to GT competition came in 2018, stepping into the Blancpain GT Series before he went on to build an impressive presence in TCR Europe, WTCR and the FIA World Touring Car Cup, becoming a factory driver for Audi Sport.
Hot on the heels of clinching a top-three finish in the Gold Cup of the GT World Challenge Europe in 2023 and excelling in the 2023/24 Asian Le Mans Series with Audi Sport, Magnus, will now have the full support of FSM founder Will Fewkes and Performance Pathway Director, Rob Huff, to accelerate his career.
Magnus said: “I’m very excited to start this collaboration with FSM. I’ve known Will since my single-seater days and Rob has been a competitor of mine for several years in the WTCR Championship – he has always been someone that I have looked up to.
“I’m convinced that FSM can have a positive and decisive influence for my future in the sport. I’m really thankful and looking forward to starting this journey together.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Gilles to Fewkes Sport Management,” added Will Fewkes, FSM Founder. “Gilles is an extremely talented and hardworking racing driver who continues to show that he is at the very top of his game in the sport.
“2024 is set to be another extremely strong year for him on his career path in sports car racing, and FSM as a company is very much looking forward to playing a pivotal role in supporting and developing his career further.”
“I’m delighted to welcome Giles on board at FSM,” concluded Huff. “Having raced against him on the world stage for many years, I’ve always had him singled out as being a real star of the future.
“He’s a very fast driver and for me is the full package – he has everything. To be able to now represent him and contribute towards what I’m sure will be a hugely successful career is extremely exciting.”
