WORLD CHAMPION ROB HUFF JOINS FEWKES SPORT MANAGEMENT

Fewkes Sport Management is delighted to announce that it is now representing 2012 FIA World Touring Car Champion and 2023 Kumho TCR World Tour title contender Rob Huff, as he looks to further expand on his glittering career to date.

The latest high-profile name to align themselves with FSM, which was founded by Will Fewkes, the Cambridge-born racer is set to work with the agency on his own racing plans, both on and off the track, whilst also providing guidance to drivers within the FSM portfolio in the newly-created key role of Performance Pathway Director.

Achieving unprecedented worldwide success across a number of years, Huff has established himself as one of Britain’s greatest generational talents in touring cars on the world stage, with a CV that boasts multiple titles, wins and podiums around the globe.

Huff’s success began in the UK as he excelled with SEAT in the British Touring Car Championship before he really came to prominence in 2005, when he made the switch to the FIA World Touring Car Championship to race for Chevrolet.

Spending eight years with the General Motors brand, Huff rose to superstardom and clinched the coveted title in 2012. That triumph provided the springboard for him to clinch a string of other accolades such as amassing a record 11 victories in touring cars at the world-renowned Macau Grand Prix.

In 2020, Huff’s star power saw him join forces with Volkswagen to lift the 2020 Swedish Touring Car Championship before he went on to enjoy more championship glory as he lifted the FIA WTCR Trophy title in 2022.

Most recently, the two-time BRDC Gold Star Award winner underlined his status on the world stage by coming oh-so close to claiming a second world title, narrowly missing out on the TCR World Tour crown in the final race of the year with Audi.

Now joining forces with FSM, Huff is all set to embark on his next challenge; with a number of exciting opportunities on the horizon.

“I am extremely excited to be joining FSM,” Huff said. “I have known Will for many years now and I’ve been very impressed with what he has and continues to achieve. His drive, ambition and professionalism align with myself and I feel this is a perfect partnership.

“I join FSM not only to explore and expand on my own UK opportunities but also to take on the role of Performance Pathway Director where I’ll be helping others working within the FSM community to provide guidance and advice from my own experiences. It’s fair to say that 2024 is going to be an exciting year.”

“I am delighted to welcome Rob to our FSM portfolio and as Performance Pathway Director, added FSM founder Will Fewkes. “Rob and I go back a long way, we have always worked well together, and it’s great to see that a world-class driver of his caliber not only believes in what we want to achieve at FSM for athletes, but wants to become a key player within the process of transferring drivers to professional careers at elite level.

“There is no doubt that Rob is one of the greatest touring cars drivers of his generation. He is an 11-time Macau Grand Prix winner, a two-time BRDC Gold Star Award winner, and joins us off the back of two extremely successful years in FIA WTCR and on the TCR World Tour.

“Rob has been driving exceptionally well and currently has some very exciting options for the future – we look forward to continuing on that journey with him.

“At FSM we have also been working very hard to create an unrivalled welfare infrastructure for our elite athletes off-track, that will only serve to support Rob as he looks to build on his commercial infrastructure outside of racing for the future.”
