McKenzy Cresswell will remain with Elite Motorsport this season as he teams up with Josh Rattican to compete for the GT4 European Series powered by RAFA Racing Club title.
The 19-year-old – who joined the coveted Fewkes Sport Management athlete roster at the start of 2025 – heads into the new campaign brimming with confidence after recently clinching the GT4 European Winter Series crown.
After a number of competitive years in single-seaters, the Surrey racer aligned with Elite to make his GT4 debut in January and wasted no time in making his mark on the discipline of endurance racing.
Claiming six wins and an abundance of podiums, Cresswell was crowned Drivers’ champion and he also contributed to Elite claiming the bragging rights in the Teams’ Championship as well.
Remaining within the familiar surroundings of Eddies Ives’ team, the British rising star will join forces with reigning series champion Rattican as they bid to go for gold driving the striking McLaren Artura GT4 machine.
McKenzy Cresswell: “I’m super excited to announce that I’ll be racing in the GT4 European Series with Elite Motorsport in the McLaren Artura. We had a good campaign in the Winter Series so I’m naturally looking forward to stay with the team for another year.
“There will be lots to learn in what is my first full-year of GT racing but I have the best group of people around me that I could ask for; I’m sure we’ll all have a good year together.”
Will Fewkes, FSM Founder: “We’re delighted that McKenzy is remaining with Elite and taking on this new exciting challenge of racing in the GT4 European Series. It’s the perfect next step in his career!
“It goes without saying that he put everyone on notice with his performances in the Winter Series and the experience of that will be invaluable for him going into the new season. We all wish him and the team the very best of luck.”
Rob Huff, FSM Performance Pathway Director: “McKenzy has already demonstrated how capable he is behind the wheel and after starring in the Winter Series, I’ve no doubt that he will be one to watch in the GT4 European Series this year.
“There are new and exciting challenges ahead, like learning new circuits and exploring the car more, but all things that McKenzy will take in his stride. We are very confident he will be challenging for the championship from the first round.”
The opening rounds of the GT4 European Series powered by RAFA Racing Club season takes place at Circuit Paul Ricard in France on April 10-13.
