Fewkes Sport Management athlete McKenzy Cresswell closed out his 2025 GT4 European Winter Series campaign in style at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya this past weekend (6-9 March) as he clinched both the Drivers’ and Teams’ titles with Elite Motorsport.

Having made his GT4 debut back in mid-January, the 19-year-old wasted no time in getting to grips with the discipline of endurance racing as he took the aforementioned Winter Series by storm – driving a McLaren Artura GT4 alongside Tom Lebbon and Josh Rattican.

Claiming a clean sweep of victories at the season-opener at Estoril in Portgual, the former single-seater ace then extended his winning streak to four races when the series visited Portimao less than a week later.

Firmly established at the head of the standings, Cresswell’s relentless speed was on display for all to see in the following rounds as he claimed seven consecutive top-three finishes, opening up his advantage even further.

At Motorland Aragon in Spain, Cresswell made a welcome return to the top step of the podium in the final race of the weekend before he then went on to wrap things up at the home of the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix, claiming a sixth win of the season.

McKenzy Cresswell: “I’m really pleased to have won the GT4 European Winter Series with Elite Motorsport. I’ve got to say a big thank you to everyone in the team for all their efforts and help to making sure I got up to speed quickly.

“I feel well-prepared for the step over to GT racing this season now I have some racing under my belt and I’m really looking forward to keep developing as a driver now.”

Will Fewkes, FSM Founder: “We’re absolutely delighted for McKenzy and everyone at Elite Motorsport on their GT4 European Winter Series success. To have won both titles in the manner they have done is a testament to all of their hard work and dedication.

“Since completing his first laps in the McLaren, McKenzy has demonstrated that he has supreme talent behind the wheel. He has underlined that by largely dominating the Drivers’ Championship; this is just the beginning of what promises to be a fantastic future in GTs for him.”

Rob Huff, FSM Performance Pathway Director: “Echoing what Will has said, I’m absolutely over the moon for McKenzy on what is a tremendous achievement. To win any title is difficult, but to do it at the first time of asking, is even more impressive.

“He’s showcased that he has all the ingredients to go really far in the realm of GTs and I’m confident in saying that his stock has only gone up with winning the GT4 European Winter Series. We’ve always said he is one to watch and this triumph reinforces that point.”
